Day 1 – Tirana (Capital of Albania) → Berat (UNESCO World Heritage Site)

Begin your journey in Tirana, a vibrant capital where colorful modern life blends with layers of history. The city reflects Albania’s Illyrian roots, Ottoman heritage, and communist-era legacy, all coexisting within a youthful and energetic atmosphere.

Day 2 – Berat → Elbasan → Korça

Berat, known as the “City of a Thousand Windows,” is a living museum. Its white stone houses cascade down the hillside beneath an imposing castle, while the Osum River flows quietly through centuries of history. Berat is one of Albania’s most atmospheric and well-preserved cities.

After lunch, drive toward Korça, with a short stop in Elbasan.

Elbasan is a historic city in central Albania, continuously inhabited since antiquity and fortified by Ottoman Sultan Mehmet II in the 15th century. It was once known for its craft guilds, public baths (hamam), and religious diversity.

Continue to Korça.

Hotel check-in in Korça.
In the evening, stroll through Korça’s Old Bazaar and enjoy local wine or beer in a traditional restaurant.
Do not miss tasting Korça’s famous meatballs (“kërnacka”) and stuffed pickled peppers.

Overnight in Korça.

Day 3 – Korça → Pogradec → Lake Ohrid → Return to Tirana

Korça is a refined cultural center known for art, education, and gastronomy. Its cobblestone streets, elegant architecture, and museums reveal a proud intellectual tradition.

Transfer to Pogradec (approx. 20 minutes).

In Pogradec, enjoy a short walk along the lakeside promenade of Lake Ohrid, the deepest lake in the Balkans and one of the oldest lakes in Europe. Its crystal-clear waters host hundreds of endemic plant and animal species.

Short visit to the nearby village of Drilon, once used as a retreat area for communist leaders after World War II.

Return to Tirana.
